ABOUT US
Who is our founder ?
Before discovering her passion for aerial acrobatics, Teddy spent seven years immersed in dance, mastering various styles such as modern ballet, hip-hop, ladies style, and waacking. Her journey in movement and body control expanded as she became a certified Pilates and children’s yoga instructor. In 2017, while deepening her practice in yoga and conditioning, she ventured into pole dance and soon after, aerial acrobatics.
Teddy quickly established herself as an aerial acrobatics coach at Pole Dance Bulgaria, where she has been teaching silks and hoops to both adults and children for six years. In 2023, she expanded her expertise by studying straps intensively in Thailand and Greece, making them her new aerial passion.
With a primary focus on building strength for controlled and graceful movements, Teddy empowers her students to explore and push the boundaries of their body’s capabilities. Her love for creating choreographies has evolved from the dance floor to the air, bringing a unique artistic flair to her aerial routines.
As the founder of Aerials in the Wild, Teddy combines her extensive experience and passion for aerial arts with the natural beauty of exclusive seaside and mountain locations.
How it started ?
The Start
She began training pole dance at Pole Dance Bulgaria’s studio and shortly after discovered aerial acrobatics through silks and hoops.
The Instructor
Two years later, Pole Dance Bulgaria not only became a second home but also a dream come true for Teddy, as she began her coaching journey after specialized training and preparation.
The Rigs
During the Covid lockdowns, in her effort to find a way to train and practice her favorite sport, the idea of outdoor training was born. The first aerial rig was created, making training possible once again.
THE RETREAT
Teddy fulfilled her dream of sharing her passion for outdoor training for the first time by hosting the inaugural Aerials in the Wild event with a small group of her students.
AERIALS IN THE WILD
Obsessed with this endeavor, the second rig was created, and thus in 2022, it became official and was held for the second time again in the beautiful Balkans.
Nature and Sea
This year, Aerials in the Wild goes beyond Bulgaria and moves to Greek territory and the sea.

At Aerials In The Wild, our journey is just beginning. Inspired by the seamless blend of aerial acrobatics and the natural world, we are already working on creating aerial retreat centers around the globe. These centers will be sanctuaries where the magic of flight meets the tranquility of nature, offering participants an unparalleled experience that goes beyond the ordinary.
Our vision is to build spaces where the art of aerial acrobatics is harmoniously intertwined with the environment, enhancing the sense of freedom and connection that comes from training amidst nature’s splendor. Driven by the passion and expertise of our founder, Teddy, who has turned dreams into reality, Aerials in the Wild aims to cultivate a global community of aerial enthusiasts.
